Activities

* Sporting Clay committee reported another monthly profit.

* Club members gave a big applause of appreciation for all volunteers, who worked, organized or donated for this month activities.

Club members voted for approval on the following items:

* Voted in new club member. Skip Bixby.

* Both the club members and the Board of Directors voted to approve Club Member Howard Ziff as our volunteer lawyer to present an appeal to the State of Massachusetts in regards to the Barre Fire Chief letter directing the club to install automatic sprinkler system. $100.00 was approved to pay the Commonwealth for the appeal process. Club members voted to allow the Board of Directors to coordinate the appeal directly with Mr. Ziff. Any club members with experience in fire suppression systems or with this issue are urged to come to the next meeting to provide technical assistance.

NEW BUSINESS

A sign up sheet for the different work committees was passed around. Please sign up!

DON’T FORGET CLUB MEMBERSHIP DUES! Make check payable to the Barre Sportsmen’s Club Inc.

Gary Pearson has volunteered to set up a Club Web site and email address. This will help cut cost of mailings. The address is barresportsmansclub.org The notes and calendar will be posted. Club members can get an email address (like Hot Mail) through the club Web Site.
