Luks read a Thank You note from the Oakham Boy Scouts expressing their
appreciation for using the club for an overnight camp out.

Club members gave a big applause of appreciation for Howard Ziff, who worked on
the Fire suppression appeal.

George Marshall gave an update on the appeal
process for the State mandate Fire Suppression System held on March 8th. George said the appeal did not go in the
club’s favor. Two emergency Board of
Director Meetings were held with State Senator Steve Brewer and Fire Chief J.
Rogowski to come up with a beneficial plan to accommodate both parties in order
to meet the requirements for Fire Protection.

Mott brought up the Jr. Conservation Camp for youth ages 13 up to 17 for August
6 through 18 th. Cost will be $550.00 –
call John at 508/867-3644 for more information.
Club
members voted for the following.
· Let Tony Pitisici son rent the club on 20 May.
· Barre Police to have a qualification shoot on 17 & 22 April at night.
· Rented the Club to Shaun Bearing through Fig on 27 May 06.
· To participate in the Sportsman’s Challenge on 21 May 06. POC is Fig.
· Voted to let the BSC Board of Directors & Officers make decision on behalf of the club concerning all requirements for meeting the State Fire Suppression including selecting contractors based on lowest bid. Sign contracts had to be sent to the Barre Fire chief before the end of the month. Cost estimates for the work is $10,000.
· Approved $75.00 for the Worcester County League of Sports.
