UPCOMING EVENTS

March 12, 2005 GAME SUPPER starts at 6:00 PM. Tickets are $20.00.

Contact Missy Cooley @ 355/6218 for tickets & information on event. Please volunteer to help & donate meat!

Archery Shoots on the following dates. April 17 & June 26, 2005 starting at 7:00 AM. Contact Tom Salvadore for more information.

Activities

* The Lamb Feed was another profitable event and good time for everyone who attended and volunteered to work. Tony Pitisci was the organizer for this event.

* Sporting Clay committee reported another monthly profit. Roger King reported a conflict with another club’s shooting event and that club donated a $350.00 certificate for a pheasant shoot. Roger suggested to raffle off the Gift Certificate at the game supper.

* The Hunter Safety course had approximately 40 students in attendance. This course was taught and organized by club members Pete Stalker & Kevin Cooley.

* Keith Parker completed the installation of the new tile floor behind the bar. Awesome job!

* Club members gave a big applause of appreciation for all volunteers, who worked, organized or donated for this month activities.

Club members voted for approval on the following items:

* Voted to send a club member’s son or daughter to the Youth Conservation camp. $500.00 was approved. Interested students must submit an essay on why they should go.

A ballot vote was taken to change membership fees and requirements. Results as follows:

1. Increase the Junior Membership up to $5.00. This was a YES vote.

2. Eliminate the Life Membership Option. This was a No vote.

NEW BUSINESS

A sign up sheet for the different work committees was passed around. Please sign up!

Roger King will be accepting quotes for replacing the ceiling. Please call 413 477-8745 for more information.

Tom Salvadore asked for volunteers to help with cleaning up the Archery course on a couple of Saturdays. 355 / 4980

DON’T FORGET CLUB MEMBERSHIP DUES! Make check payable to the Barre Sportsmen’s Club Inc.

Gary Pearson has volunteered to set up a Club Web site and email address. This will help cut cost of mailings.
