Sunday, May 21, 2006 Sportsman’s Challenge – this event is competition between other local clubs – includes; Trap, 22 & Archery shoots. POC is Fig @ 978/ 355 - 4071.

 

June 4, 2006 Steak and Lobster Feed at 1:00 PM contact Ed Pollock for tickets 978 / 355 – 3061.

 

Boy Scout Camp Out / Roger King June 10th & 11th. 

 

July 15th Chicken BBQ & Family Fun Day @ noon. 

 

Activities

 

* Range Committee Chairman Butch Brown said the Back Powder Shoot was another success earning a profit of $344.11.

 

* Range – 22 Shoot start on Tuesdays at 6:30 P.M.

 

* Kitchen Committee – Tony Pitisici reported a profit of $17.20 – meals sold at the Black Powder Event.

 

* Kitchen Committee – Fig Neri reported a profit of $1,507.00 – for the Meat Raffle.

 

* Sporting Clays Committee – Roger King reported a profit of $450.00

 

* Trap Committee – trap every Wednesday starting at 7:30 P.M.

 

Archery Committee – shoot every Monday at 6:00 P.M.

 

* Club members gave a big applause of appreciation for all the committees’ hard work!

 

* George Marshall gave an update on the bidding process and selection of contractors to complete the Fire Protection System.  Rick Electric was low bidder and has signed a contract.  Fire Protect was low bidder for the Fire Suppression System over the Stove.  John Neri signed as the contractor to install the door.  All work will cost an estimate $8,000.00.

NEW BUSINESS

* John Mott brought up the Jr. Conservation Camp for youth ages 13 up to 17 for August 6 through 18 th.  Cost will be $550.00 – call John at 508/867-3644 for more information.  No calls to date.

 

Club members voted for the following.

·        New member Robert Skip Witt

·        New member Anthony J. Mangano.

·        New Member Fred Crick French

·        Approved $200.00 from the Youth Wildlife Fund for an upcoming shoot.

·        Voted to sponsor a Golf Hole - Benefit for Cancer for $100.00.  Tim Fitzgerald POC.

·        Approved $2,500.00 to pay Fire Protec

CLUB MEMBERSHIP DUES!  Very important to fill out the forms – we have a lot of wrong addresses.

 

* A moment of silence was held in honor of Frank White, who recently died.
