Functions – Completed

 

Kids Youth Shoot.  Chris Duggan ran this event and had 6 youths.  They all had a great time and this is an increase over last years shoot.  The birds were expertly cleaned, wrapped and put into the freezer for the 2009 Game Supper.

 

Ed Pollack reported that he spent $220.00 on ammo and prizes for the upcoming Turkey Shoot.  Ed saved the club 50% off the cost of the ammo.

 

Mark Koenig requested last call for entries to be submitted for the Quabbin Open Fishing Derby.  Mark will announce the winner at the next meeting but from the low tone of some grumble mumbles it sounded like Fig?

 

Thanks to the folks who participated and worked.

 

·         Voted to let the Barre Boy Scouts use the Club on Saturday 15 November.  Jeff Degnan will be coordinating this camp out.

·         Butch Brown found some live ammo this past weekend on range.  Please keep track of your ammo.  Pick up the spent shells and throw away or recycle.  We want to keep everyone safe!

·         George Marshall announced that the Sporting Clay group has added Skeet shooting to it’s arsenal of shooting activities.

·         I (Ralph) won’t be at the next meeting but Carol will take the notes for me.  Be nice to Carol!!!!!
